The Vision of the Global Council for Education in Congenital Heart Surgery is that every child born anywhere in the world with a congenital heart defect should have access to appropriate medical and surgical care by competent congenital heart surgeons and teams. 

Our Mission

The Mission of the Global Council for Education in Congenital Heart Surgery is to establish global standards for training and certification of safe and competent congenital heart surgeons.  Such standards should be flexible where necessary to accommodate regional and national conditions.
